i think classical music is appreciated when its integrated with popular mainstream products like Halo or the movie Inception. but i think its appreciated in a way that isn't meant to be. they see it as all epic sounding and they don't listen to it musically but what can you expect? not everyone listens to music going like, "OOO the progression from the E flat to G 7 diminished was so AWESOME!" lol yeah

I combined the Top 50 Cellestial Radio and the Top 100 Everfree Radio (and added artists to the list) just to see what the combination would look like. Only 19 tracks were on both lists which was a little disappointing. I gave each points of 101-their rank (so something at #1 would have 100 points, something at #11 would have 90, etc).

as far as i know these were the only 2 Top Brony Songs list for the Year?

Does this look a little better (31 more songs obviously). Again the top songs rankings may be a bit better with this (although Everfree's list is mostly copied in their Top 51-100).

As I stated before I'd love to arrange a MLR Top Brony Songs list of 2011 if there's enough interest for it. I'd want people to submit a list with a minimum of 25 tracks, a maximum of 100, ranked, no more than 3 artists per list, remixes considered separate from originals (or that could change if people don't like that rule), from members registered in 2011, and have them be mlp inspired tracks.

That way people can vote for what they though was missing, have a master (perhaps bigger) list that includes hopefully a wider range of music. I think viewing music a little more seriously we have a different perspective on what we consider our favorite tracks and that our list would be different and perhaps more reflective of our views (which would be worth compiling). Like I said I'd be happy to do the work putting that together as long as i have the support of people (ie-democracy only works if you vote).
