Nope.

I don't quite remember when Bartekko joined, but I do remember that he started out as an insufferable ass, and though it shames me to admit it, we all sort of ganged up on him and bullied him. At one point, he was superclose to being banned from MLR for calling Makkon lazy.

I'm not entirely certain how it happened, but let's face facts: Bartekko has transitioned from being someone I thought of as a worthless troll to being one of the most genuinely constructive members of the community. He's polite and encouraging to newcomers, doesn't spam or troll, and I was pretty taken aback by how many times I was seeing "WOW! Bartekko just made an awesome/topical/awesome post!"

I know I snapped at you once or twice in the past, Bartekko, and I apologize for that. You are, in my opinion, one of the MLR community's most resounding success stories. I'm not even sure about your music, I haven't really been following it, but I've heard that it's gotten better. The most important thing, though, is your attitude, demeanor, and general worth to the community. Bartekko: fries the circuits... of my heart (I know that's not how quotes work, but heartfelt compliments work all the time)

I'm not certain what to suggest in terms of activities and festivities. We already had a Toastbeard that was more or less the Bartekko Toastbeard. So feel free to make suggestions. More importantly, make your comments to Bartekko in this thread! Show him some love! I hereby declare that December 23rd is Bartekko Appreciation Day. So go nuts.

I honestly feel horrible for ganging up on Bartekko like we did. Part of the reason I joined in was because everyone else was doing it too, which was incredibly stupid. I'm sorry Barty.

And I find it amazing how Bartekko became so awesome so quickly. Just a few weeks after he became famous for You Just All My Blood, suddenly he's making these really insightful and helpful posts on here. And not only his posts, his music got way better too (besides the short offkeyness in his Rainbow Factory remix)! I'm seriously loving his new little style of putting in as many synths as fucking possible, and making sure absolutely NOTHING stays the same.

In short, Bartekko just all my blood.

btw I was the first person to link the Ira Glass quote, but I'm glad that bartekko links it to people, cause it's a REALLY great quote.

I agree with that one hundred percent. I apologize for any trolling I've done in the past (don't remember how much I did, apart from some stray 'All My Blood'ing), and thank you so much for the warmth you've shown others entering the community.
