Does it have to be new? Because I have a Moonlight Sonata remix of EB's Luna that I've had on my youtube channel for awhile... Darn! Well, time to get writing... this is my first time on mylittleremix!
Hey guys, I'm Chris! Really, I just make whatever I want; who needs genre restrictions?

There is. WIPs aren't being shown to everyone. Previews are.

It has to be new, for this event specifically.

Might have to dust off my attempted remix of Everypony's Bangin' I tried a while back and work on that.

Should we ask the artists if it is ok to remix their stuff? Or does it matter. (I have no idea what proper edicut is in this matter)

If they gave the stems openly, yea, if not, idk, just ask tem anyways to be sure.

I know this sounds like you guys already answered this, but this question's kinda complicated:
Someone said covers were allowed (ex. guitar cover for a dubstep song), but what if I want to make a cover/ redo the vocals to someone else's song and then use those in a remix? For example, if I find that someone isn't hitting all the notes correctly, cover the vocals and then use those for a remix instead of the originals. If not, I can always ask around/ browse around for vocal files for brony artists songs, and then autotune them. Problem with that is that vocals always sound at least somewhat different after that :/
FYI I'm probably not going to do this, I just wanna know if it's optional or if I should just leave the idea out entirely.
Thanks guys :)

That's perfectly fine, Guestex, that's the general premise of what you would do to 'remake' the song.

ProjectCrusader: You don't need to, but if you want their help (stems/midi) you might want to ask them.

Pretty sure that's a cover.

It's the song split by instrument/samples into separate audio tracks

alternatively, stems can also mean midi score that would help you with notation in case you want even more controll over your remix (unless you have a good ear and you can notate it by yourself)

Oh, okay! Thank you! I've just been trying to notate stuff myself, but I suppose that would make things go much faster for future remixes. I spent the better part of an hour struggling to figure out a rhythm for my RMWV entry before I realized the section of the song I was listening to was just in a different tempo 8\

Here's a little something to give everyone some inspiration hopefully. I also put the MyLittleRemix logo on the brony remix war logo. I thought it didn't look half bad.

I'm willing to do art for as many people as I can. My Skype name is Koob33 if anyone had questions.

If I can't handle them all or you want to go through someone else never hesitate to ask anyone over on deviant art in equestria digital. I know the admins and users there are trustworthy enough to help make art.

Yes everyone here is always free to use the art I make on their videos or songs. But don't jump the gun on using just one, I'll be making more soon hopefully. I would like if you can send me a link to the video just so that way I can see where my work goes :3

I'll try to make some art that has room to add music visualizers to it as well. I'm here to help you guys as much as I can :P

Woah, can I have the original in whatever format you made it in, or at least the layers and masks? I'd like to turn it into a spectrogram for my remix, should I finish it in time.

Actually, I thought about it, and I'd rather manipulate the logo to better fit the song I'm remixing (If that's okay by Makkon), and then add a spectrogram myself...

Will I be sent to the moon if I remix Rainbow Factory? Hope not because I've had the intentions of properly remixing that song for ages. :3
