I don't know if anypony out there uses Reason 5 like I do, but if anyone does, I'd be glad to collab with them. I might try to do something myself, but i don't know if I'll be able to finish in time, what with college approaching.

I kind of want to do a "Madeon" taking a ton of popular brony songs and mash them up for fun but I don't know how much that would count as remix and it would be super time cosuming and take so long to mix
I don't have time for fancy signatures.

We're not doing mashups here, you're supposed to remake the song.

I've finished my first contest entry.. It's a reworking of Wooden Toaster's Rainbow Factory.

We've got plenty of time left. Is there anypony who wants to collaborate? I'm pretty handy with NI tools, Sonar, Acid, Reaper, Reason, Renoise. FL Studios...

Didn't Makkon make a post earlier on about how you're not finished until you put your best into it, and spend all of your time improving it?

I started yesterday, found an unfinished remix, remixed that, and that's my entry. Either way, I can now say that my remix of something Makkon did is now done, and it sounds better than the original (in my opinion, noting that I used about a third of the instruments that the original had)

Oh well. Good luck, Electronic musicians, it's your contest.

We have longer than a week, and it's not just for electronic musicians. Think of Makkon's remix of For The New Lunar Republic. That was for the Remix War.

I thought it was the first of the next month, not the first of the month after that, meaning that there'd only be a week (when there was actually a week and a month).
That's why I said it was for electronic musicians, you take a few clicks & song is made; a week is enough time to do it in.

I most certainly did.

What I do as orchestral instrumentation doesn't even compare to the complexity and difficulty of what most of everyone else on this forum does. Electronic music isn't a few clicks. It's painstaking hours of tedious work, and a good song would only take a week if you were working on it like a full time job. I can't even begin to do a decent job of it myself.
Don't be presumptuous, if you knew much about electronic music composition you would demonstrate some more respect for it and the people who make it.

Please read more carefully. This isn't a "contest", and this isn't for electronic musicians only. It's for the musicians, by the musicians, for no other purpose than to expand your skills, try new things, and get to know eachother.
