No.

On the Saturday, it's musicians only. On the Sunday when it's posted to EqD is when anypony can join.

Y U No???
OK. Let's imagine a person from MLR who hasn't submitted his entry this round. Is he allowed to watch the synctube?
Let's imagine a person who is not from MLR but he is a brony and he is a musician. Is he allowed to watch the synctube?
If a brony wants to watch the synctube, does he have to prove that he is a musician by posting some stuff to MLR or elsewhere?
If a brony fails to prove that he is a musician, will you banish him to the moon?

I would love to join you guys on saturday, but unfortunately I'm not a musician. I'm just hoping I'll be able to get in on sunday. (synchtube has a 50 viewer limit if I'm not mistaken, right?)

I don't get what this synclisten thing's rules are. Only music bronies or participating bronies are allowed to join it? Should I worry about this? What are the times of the listen? My birthday is on the same day so I might miss the listen. (tunin 16 "YAY!")

technically, yes. musicians/participants for saturday.
BUT I wouldn't worry about that too much. if you're part of this community, you should be fine.

On sunday, we'll open up a synctube channel and send it to EqD. that's for anypony and everypony.

Any chance of having a second sync-listen later in the day or week? I might have to miss the one at 12 :(

How "loose" is your definition of musician? If I've participated in the creation of a track before does that count?

Does that mean that the playlist will keep rolling on Sunday to let non-musician ponies watch?

I don't know if I'll be able to finish by 11:00PST on Saturday since I have a football game tomorrow night and an all day band clinic Saturday. Would it be possible to submit something as a preview then link to the full version in the description when I finish the whole thing?

First off- I suppose so, since that's what I ended up doing for the first Remix War. Second, from the looks of things we are, in fact, getting about a 1-week extension.
I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES.

I hope so. I wan my first remix to be amazing. It sounds pretty good but I'm only like halfway done and I need to go to bed now since I need to wake up in 5 hours. Maybe I'll have time to finish after the game tomorrow. I can't believe so many of us are behind on this. Also, would anyone care to know what I'm remixing? Only the person that I'm remixing knows what song it is as of now.

So, if the Remix War goes with the extension, it's gonna be a COMPLETE SYNCFEST! Season 2 Episode 2 stream at 2pm (GMT), Remix War synchtube at 6pm, then the Toastbeard synchlisten at 3am Sunday morning.

That day will be a good day.

I'm pretty sure this has already been asked (and if I remember correctly the answer was yes) but can we show our remixes to friends/family before the end of the remix war? I say this because I have a fair number of people who want to hear it and making them wait another week will be pretty agonizing.

They told me that you can show, but it's not encouraged.
Although I personally think that it's quite OK to show to friends/family, just I wouldn't publish it on YouTube or soundcloud

If the extension does happen, then I'll actually be able to do all of that on saturday. And I'll finally get to watch the 1st episode of season 2 on youtube of course.
